I want to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I received from Dr. Lake and Dr. Headrick during my surgery. As a new patient under Dr. Lake, I was deeply impressed by his compassionate and thorough approach. He consistently took the time to clearly explain my condition and treatment options and providing the best possible care. Futhermore, I also want to commend the entire office staff for their professionalism, helpfullness and friendly demeanor. The overall experience was very good and I am truly thankful for your dedication to your patient well-being.

To start with there is a very pleasant office staff. Dr. Lake on the other hand is a highly unusual surgeon. He is a true gentleman. He is empathic, he is funny, he listens, he is not scalpel happy, and I highly suspect he not only knows what he is doing but that he is also good at what he does. He is absolutely not arrogant as so many surgeons unfortunately are. I am a relatively new patient of his, but I have met enough doctors in my life to know who is who. I'm very happy I found this practice and Dr. Lake in particular.

Highly recommend Valley Colorectal Surgeons. The office staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Headrick is fantastic! He is attentive, thorough and takes the time to listen to his patients. He was gentle with the exam and explained everything during the procedure. He has a kind, pleasant demeanor and a good sense of humor. I initially came into the office very nervous and left feeling confident that my health care was in good hands. After dealing with my condition for over several months, I’m grateful that I took the step to make an appointment. I am pleased to say that my condition has been corrected and I feel great! I saw Dr. Lake because I had not had a colonoscopy for more than 20 years. He put me at ease and said, due too my age, I needed an ok from my primary doctor before the procedure. Also all of the staff were kind and made me feel comfortable as well.

Dr Lake and staff are absolutely on top of it and next to you at the same time. Very accommodating to schedules and transparent when it comes to treatment. I like the upfront approach that takes out any assumptions. Clear cut communication is always appreciated in my world. My treatment was with Dr Lake and I would recommend him to everyone. His decades of experience coupled with his bedside manner is the perfect combo when you’re in a situation to have to make a visit. He kept things light but direct and to the point. I would highly recommend VCS for any GI related surgeries.

Kind, caring and professional

This is my second time seeing Dr. Lake, he made me feel extremely comfortable and is very nice! I would definitely recommend him to family and friends!
